From kettlebells to battling ropes or TRX Suspension Training to plain old lifting heavy things, Matt sees clean, unrestricted, pain-free movement as the basis for any fitness pursuit. With the viewpoint of always moving better and getting stronger, he encourages everyone to first incorporate movement into a healthy lifestyle and then keep moving. A former U.S. Navy Seabee reservist and veteran of Operation Desert Storm, Matt is an NSCA-CPT and SFG -Certified Kettlebell Instructor and holds Functional Movement Systems (FMS) Certifications for Screening and Advanced Correctives.
