Jade Alexis - Instructor SpotlightJade Alexis is a celebrity personal trainer based in New York City.  She is an advisor on the Fitness Magazine Advisory Board, a fitness contributor to EbonyOnline and was formally sponsored by Reebok Ltd.  Jade is wildly passionate about health and fitness and hosts a weekly exercise class for Seniors.  Jade Alexis created two phenomenal fitness apps: Jade of Spades and 20 Down.  Jade worked with Brooklyn Decker and ELLE magazine to create a total body workout; ELLE CardioBody DVD.  Lastly, Jade also has a total body strength and cardio workout available on the dynamic exercise DVD, Celebrity Trainers Workout.

Jade has worked with several stars and athletes including; Jordin Sparks, Alicia Keys, Lamman Rucker, Steven Lang, Eva Mendes, Brooklyn Decker, Jennifer Garner, Denise Boutte and The New York Knicks City Dancers.  Also check out the workouts Jade did with Adrienne Bialon and television personality, Rocsi.

Jade is certified with the National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM), Schwinn Cycling and has a subsequent specialty certification in Pre/Post-Natal Exercise. .Jade received her BSBA and her MBA from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She completed both of her degrees while playing Division-I Women’s Basketball and freelance personal training in the local community.

Prior to earning her scholarship as a Division – 1 basketball player, Jade played competitive tennis within the Ontario Tennis Association (OTA).  While growing up in Canada, Jade received a Level-I Coaching Certification through the Ontario Basketball Association and coached adolescents in her hometown.  Jade also fought with USA Boxing as an amateur fighter and fought in the New York Golden Gloves, making it to the Semi-Finals.  Jade continues to live, learn and be fit.

Workout with Jade and Spin Wednesdays at 12:15PM. Jade will also be the instructor for our Basketball March Madness event on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at 12:00PM on the Basketball Court. B-Ball Fitness is a fun, dynamic court workout taught by former Division 1 Athlete Jade Alexis. Challenge your cardio endurance as Jade coaches you through a series of intense basketball drills that target your legs, core and upper body.  Burn it off and tone it up with B-Ball.
